How to Not Launch an Airsoft Site March 10, 2006

(Visited 2883 times)

So you have an airsoft site you want to promote. Always make sure to put your best foot forward. Doublecheck everything. Lastly, don’t let Virgo over at Planet Airsoft catch you napping!

SharpShooter:

Hello, i am new here. I just wanted to pop in and tell everyone that i have recently created a website on airsoft, and airsoft sniping. I also have some forums setup along with it. Come check it out! Right now it’s a little bare but i am working as we speak to add more content. I am always willing to post up articles submitted by people liek you as well! Check out the site for more information.

Then Virgo chimes in:

Too bad your sniping information is misleading.

You even got the definition wrong.

To snipe is to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy’s forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage (Webster).

You put this for Sniper:
Sniper - (Noun) A skilled military soldier who specializes in picking off enemies at a distance.

The correct definition would be:
One who shoots at exposed individuals (as of an enemy’s forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.

A sniper doesn’t have to be part of a military chain. Nor does a sniper have to pick off enemies at a great distance.

Your info on rifle pricing is waaaaaay off too. $100 for a rifle is just pitiful. You’re talking Super 9 bullshit right there. A blank rifle with no upgrades that’s suitable for sniping will NEVER coss less than $150, and that’s pushing it. The best sniper rifles on the market cost upwards of $250 JUST for the rifle. Get your facts right.

The site looks good, but your info pretty much sucks. Take it down, revise it with some research and don’t talk out of your ass, then put it back up.

Don’t take it personally, but i have a certain degree of “knowledge” in terms of sniping and all other forms of combat.

Ouch!

Or to shoot at a small fast moving bird, called a snipe. I doubt most airsoft “snipers” could hit one.
